Sacred Geometry

For many years I have admired the geometric patterns found in nature, many of which are said to have divine meaning. I started exploring this theme in a very simple way, using a compass, straightedge and pencil to draw circles in specific compositions that form what are called Sacred Geometry Patterns. I immediately started noticing these same patterns everywhere: in flowers, foliage, crystals...

I have expanded my love for creating geometric patterns to my watercolor and digital drawing practices. This is one of my favorite subjects to draw and paint, I find it relaxing and fun, as well as challenging.
